What can I expect of my first therapy session?
The first session is about getting to know each other. It is an opportunity for you to express your concerns or current presenting issues. It is also an opportunity to ask me whatever you need and to discuss any goals you may have.
What is Transpersonal?
A transpersonal therapist is a counsellor who helps clients explore experiences that go beyond the self or ego. Transpersonal counselling is grounded in evidence-based theory and modern techniques that explore human growth and potential. This approach grew out of the transpersonal movement from the1960’s, and is based on the work of leaders in thepsychology field such as Carl Jung, Abraham Maslow, and Roger Walsh.
Are sessions face to face only?
Skype sessions are also available for those unable to travel.
Do I need a referral?
No, you do not need a referral. Simple book an appointment online or by phone.
Can I claim a rebate through Medicare?
Unfortunately not. Government rebates from Medicare do not apply to counselling services at present.
What are your rates?
The rate for a 60 minute session is $90, sometimes a longer session is required - 90 minutes is $135
What is your cancellation policy?
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for cancellation or change of appointment.
Full fees apply if cancellation is after the 24 hours notice period.
What type of payments do you accept?
I accept Cash and Bank transfers are available for session and must be cleared before the session. I do not accept cheques
